Jonathan Parker, a 19-year-old from Fort Loudon, was arraigned on September 15. Parker is reportedly a wannabe diamond thief with very little will power. He broke into a West Virginian home, stole two diamond rings and signed into Facebook while there, according to the Journal of West Virginia.
Parker's plan to misappropriate the diamonds and some Facebook time was almost perfect, but unlike the stones, it had just one flaw. See, you've got to sign out of Facebook if you don't want anyone to know you used their PC, and Parker allegedly didn't do that.
The police didn't have too much trouble finding Parker and now he's in custody at the Eastern Regional Jail on $10K bail. If he's convicted, he could face between one and 10 years in prison.
This isn't the first time FB and the man have teamed up. Two kids were recently apprehended in Wisconsin for illegally shooting at deer. A video of them reportedly doing so was found on Facebook and the State Department of Natural Resources took the necessary measures to make sure they never try to poach again.
