Twitter vs. Kanye: Now the President is involved

Thanks to Twitter, a producer/rapper who recently acted crazy in front of the entire country at MTV's Video Music Awards has caught the American President's eye... again.

According to USA Today, President Obama was getting ready for an interview on CNBC when he shared his opinion of Kanye West, award-ceremony-crasher extraordinaire.

President Obama might've known mic checks were being performed, but apparently there is an unwritten rule amongst White House reporters that you can't use anything that's said before taping begins. Seems someone should write that rule down, as it slipped the mind of one ABC reporter who tweeted President Obama's comment.

'TerryMoran: Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential.'

President Obama's comment came after Kanye walked up on stage at the VMAs and snatched the mic away from Taylor Swift, a young country singer who was delivering her acceptance speech after winning Best Female Video, and told her (and anyone who has the internet and cares about this sort of thing) that Beyoncé should've gotten it.

The hip-hop artist has been known for televised outbursts, such as one that occurred during a benefit concert for Hurricane Katrina victims when he lambasted then-President George W. Bush.ADNFCR-2087-ID-19362089-ADNFCR
