Motorola's pretty excited about its new CLIQ, which will become available this fall. The device apparently interacts with sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail and LastFM via its MOTOBLUR syncing solution. The CLIQ is a smartphone powered by the Android operating system that you'll be able to get through T-Mobile here in the U.S. A device with similar capabilities will be available in the U.K., France, Spain and Latin America.
'With MOTOBLUR we are differentiating the Android experience for consumers by delivering a unique mobile device experience designed around the way people interact today,' said Sanjay Jha, CEO of Motorola Mobile Devices.
MOTOBLUR will take every conversation, update, photo and link and deliver it to the CLIQ's home screen. Opening applications and menus will be unnecessary, and users will be able to update their own status on multiple sites simultaneously.
Motorola had sales of $30.1 billion last year. The company enjoyed much success when it launched the RAZR in 2004.
