Social networking is so cool

There's much competition in the social networking world and sites seem to climax and nosedive quickly because there's always something new.

Twitter has been getting a lot of attention lately, what with its new VoIP feature and the Kennedy family using it to update the public on news surrounding senator Ted Kennedy's death. And even though Twitter has always competed with Facebook, the micro-blogging site now has a rival that mirrors its service exactly.

SOKULE is a new site that does everything Twitter can and more. Some of the features that make SOKULE a strong Twitter competitor include 500 character messages, the ability to edit posts and various multimedia capabilities.

The site also offers an assortment of membership levels. Anytime you persuade one of your followers to upgrade their membership to one they have to pay for, you get a commission.

'SOKULE is Twitter monetized. We've taken the best features of Twitter, added a long list of improvements and applications, and we're paying commissions to members,' says one of the site's co-founders, Phil Basten.ADNFCR-2087-ID-19368549-ADNFCR
