Facebook helps uphold the law

Two scofflaws have been captured and punished and it's all thanks to a social networking site.

In Wisconsin, two guys just got into trouble for attempted poaching and it's because there is footage of them doing it on Facebook, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Adam Frame, a 25-year-old from Mukwonago, and Dustin Porter, a 24-year-old from Sullivan, are on camera shooting at deer in Frame's town in 2007. They missed.

Even though they didn't hit anything, Frame pleaded guilty to having a gun and was ordered to pay $314 in forfeitures. Either that, or go to jail for six days.

Porter's case is still pending, and the Tribune never managed to find out if he's got a lawyer.

A State Department of Natural Resources warden named Rick Reed got the tip on the video, and he didn't let the lead go to waste. The movie was entitled Hunting Muktown style.

These days you can find all sorts of random things on Facebook. The website's stats page says it now has over 300 million users, so there's bound to be weird videos of stuff like kids shooting at defenseless animals.ADNFCR-2087-ID-19367045-ADNFCR
